The Australian Cotton Production Manual is published by CRDC and CottonInfo and is updated to incorporate the latest research and consistent improvements in industry best practice.

A critical reference tool for growers, the Manual is developed to offer a ‘one-stop-shop’ guide to growers. It outlines all the necessary conditions in preparation for, and during, cotton production in Australia and also offers an understanding of cotton physiology and the important considerations for both productivity and profitability.

The 2025 edition contains a new chapter that looks at greenhouse gas emission reduction, and relevant RD&E is now highlighted near the start of chapters to give you a quick overview of the latest information.

NB: In Chapter 1 of the 2025 ACPM on Page 12 there is an incorrect formula against the cotton day degree calculation. The correct formula is (Tmax+Tmin)/2-15.6

Previous editions can be found at CRDC’s electronic library Inside Cotton or by searching the CottonInfo website via Manuals and Guides.
