In response to spray drift damage last season to cotton crops in the Murray Valley and Lachlan Valley, extra Craig Day Spray Safe and Save workshops are in place for these regions. The workshops plus extra resources (advisor workshops, spray plans and a hotline) are fully funded by CRDC and SOS with support from GRDC.
The target audience is anyone applying chemicals (especially Group 4 chemicals such as 2,4-D, MCPA) during summer in these valleys.
Please remind growers and advisors in your district that these workshops are on.

Workplace visits for any grower near Finley or Deniliquin 1.5 to 2 hours per workplace, Thursday 2nd October and Friday 3rd October. Grower to pay for visit
