FIBREpak is a guide to improving Australian cotton fibre quality.

It contains information for managing fibre quality at every step, from pre-planting to processing. The aim is to provide all those involved in producing and delivering fibre - the grower, manager, agronomist, consultant, ginner, classer, merchant, shipper and retailer - with knowledge of what aspects of fibre quality they can influence; options for managing those aspects; and an understanding of the needs and constraints of the other participants in the fibre supply chain.

WATERpak is a guide for irrigation management in cotton and grain farming systems.

Water is the major limiting factor for cotton production in Australia and efficient water management is paramount for cotton growers to achieve high yields and profits in a sustainable way. Making good water management decisions is no simple task for growers who operate in a complex environment of unpredictable climate, variable soil type and evolving water policy.

Weeds are a major problem in Australian cotton farming systems. Integrated weed management (IWM) seeks to deal with these issues by combining a number of different approaches to achieve sustainable, cost effective and environmentally sensitive weed management.

WEEDpak has been designed to provide growers, agronomists, consultants and others with information on IWM, why IWM is so important and the tools that are available to implement an IWM strategy.

Pest management is an integral part of cotton production in Australia. However, when handling, using and disposing of pesticides, the safety of people and the environment must be a primary consideration. SPRAYpak has been developed for growers and focuses on pesticide application and usage in cotton.
