Spotlight magazine - Autumn 2021

The autumn edition of CRDC's magazine, Spotlight, takes a look at two innovative new initiatives underway: the research and development corporation collaboration Agricultural Innovation Australia, and the Federal Government’s Business Research and Innovation Initiative. CRDC is excited to be a part of both these initiatives.

The summer edition of CRDC's magazine, Spotlight, continues the focus on sustainability, in line with the industry's current work to set new sustainability targets. Of significance is CRDC’s commitment to RD&E to improve fish health in our rivers, and a ground-breaking program with CRDC, Cotton Australia, CottonInfo, Landcare and clothing brand Country Road to improve the health of river red gums and riparian zones in the Namoi Valley.

From researchers, PhD students, Nuffield scholars and the Australian Rural Leadership Program participants, CRDC is building capacity and resilience within the industry.

Spotlight Magazine - Spring 2019

The spring edition of CRDC's magazine, Spotlight, takes an indepth look at crop nutrition and disease in preparation for the 2019-20 cotton season. In it, we investigate the results from the More Profit from Nitrogen project, led by CRDC under the Department of Agriculture’s Rural R&D for Profit program, which has provided growers with a greater understandng of how to reduce inputs and increase efficacy.

The autumn edition of CRDC's magazine, Spotlight, focuses on the impacts that research, development and extension delivers for growers and the industry.

The newly released Investment.Innovation.Impact report outlines CRDC's investments and impact under the 2013-18 CRDC Strategic RD&E Plan. From this report we can see impressive benefit-cost ratios of research, the contribution of growers into R&D, and many other achievements accomplished by CRDC-led RD&E during this time.
